The Natural Stone we use
We use a variety of stone in our products. All our stone is UK sourced and worked 'in house' at our purpose built premises in West Yorkshire. Our carbon footprint must be virtually non-existent,any waste stone is used down to the smallest piece of walling stone, anything else is sent to a crushing plant for aggregate use. Our specialty stone has to be our Buff Golden Yorkshire Sandstone, locally quarried 10 miles from our premises,it is often known as Yorkstone. If you do buy elsewhere ensure you are buying genuine Yorkshire Stone, quite often Lancashire sand stone or even imported Chinese/Indian sandstone will be passed off as 'Yorkstone'. We are happy to provide provenance for each of the stones we use, we are passionate about British stone!
