​The cutting and Quality selection process...

   We currently saw blocks up to 15 tonnes in weight, this allows us to produce a large quantity of slab.                  

   There are 3 processes to consider:-

​

  • Primary Sawing- Cutting up the large quarry raw boulders to produce a set sized stone slab.

  • Secondary Sawing- Cutting up the large slabs into smaller sawn 6 sides stone masonry

  • At the secondary stage, our skilled saw men are looking to select the best quality stone
